Pete McMahon started out as a teenager in the Otis Lee Blues Band and Don Zogg and The Hellhounds, followed by a stint with Frank Corso's Barrel House Blues Trio. In the mid-80s Pete founded legendary Upstate blues band The Kingsnakes with Dr. Blue. The Kingsnakes were together for 10 years, the last 4 touring as John Lee Hooker's backup band on the Eastern half of North America. Next was a 5 year stay with Kim Simmonds and Savoy Brown, with whom he toured the world. Coming off the road, Pete led his own band, Pete McMahon and The SuperNaturals for 5 years.
There were numerous Kingsnakes reunions through the mid 2000s, and in 2006 Pete was inducted into the Sammy's Hall of Fame as a founding member of The Kingsnakes. Pete joined up with The Super Delinquents in 2009, and as of 2013, in his own words is “now locking horns with Mighty Mark Doyle, the rest is History...”
